The hospital food is as good as Kandice remembers -- which is really good! We're just watching the NFL game now, and Kandice is getting her blood pressure checked every 1-1/2 hours. More blood tests and another NST in the morning.

Update from the hospital
This morning the doctor called and said that we needed to get back to Iowa City right away for some more tests. She was concerned that Kandice's blood pressure and other symptoms were more serious than first thought, so we left work right away and drove to Iowa City. They did some blood work first before another NST (non-stress test). The NST showed the babies are doing great, responding just like they should be. But Kandice's blood pressure was still elevated (130's/90's) and the blood tests were slightly worse than yesterday. So... the doctor decided to keep Kandice overnight and to give her two steroid shots to help mature the babies' lungs and brains for an earlier delivery. Right now the doctor doesn't think we'll make it to September 30, which was the original target. It could be tomorrow, or mid-September, but likely not beyond that.
