Things are going well!

Well... the first two nights are behind us! Actually they went pretty well. Kamryn and Kason are both eating about every 3 to 3-1/2 hours. Both of them started to eat really well last night (or was that this morning at 2am?). Kamryn actually had about 4 oz in one feeding. Each middle-of-the-night feeding is taking 30-45 minutes right now, depending on how fast they eat, whether they need a change of clothes, etc. I'm sure this will get lower as we get faster and used to the routine.

We took them to our family doctor today in Wilton (Ashley Schmieg). Kason is now 5 lb 2 oz and Kamryn is 5 lb 7 oz. , so both are gaining weight at a good pace. We'll go back mid-October for a weight check, then again at 2 months for shots.

Kaelen was a big helper tonight with the babies. She helped us hold bottles, burp them by rubbbing their backs, and she kissed them both good night. So far that has gone great, hopefully the weekend together will just help us all bond even more.

Here are some pics from the twins' first bath at home. Neither objected (too much).
