Just a quick update tonight. Kamryn and Kason continue to improve, and the doctors ok’d their move to NICU Bay 5 this afternoon. They now share a room, and it has a sleeping couch, recliner, private bathroom, TV, DVD, windows to the outside and a door. Given their improvement and new room, we thought the time was right to take Kaelen up to the hospital to meet her baby sister and brother. The visit went great! Kaelen wasn’t scared of the hospital room or strange equipment, and she was interested in seeing each baby and said “Hi Baby!” to each one of them. Kandice fed Kason when she was in the room and Kaelen didn’t mind at all and after a few minutes she started to entertain herself with the Dora book and stickers that the babies got her. She was a little sad when we left but said “Bye Baby!” to each of them. All in all, a great visit.
