Migration and becoming Mobile Modern

We were blessed with awesome weather this past weekend. Had a nice picnic with friends on Saturday at a park on the Mississippi River. Sunday, I ran a migration with my running friends- the Wildebeests to West Liberty, IA (18 miles there) and then participated in a 5K race (3.1 miles). It was a beautiful morning and a great run- my furthest since the marathon. Yes, you can say it- we Wildebeests are a little crazy and we do understand that you can drive places, but we run because we can! Jeff and the kids met me in West Liberty so Kaelen could participate in the kids 50 yard race. Kaelen enjoyed it and was very proud of the medal she received.

Kamryn and Kason continue to crawl around even faster so had to put up an additional gate to keep them contained much to the dismay of our cats. We have to keep a close eye on Kamryn. She will move across the room at full speed to pull Kason's pacifier out of his mouth. Good thing he is so good natured. Kamryn is also now trying to pull herself up to stand in her crib.

We became the proud owners of the new Blackberry Tour today (it just came out this weekend). We had been wanting to get rid of our home phone line for some time now so made the leap today. The best thing is we were able to keep our same home phone number and just transfer it to the Blackberry. Our service is with Verizon- where we get a 19% discount thru work so we did not increase our monthly phone bill. We now have mobile Facebook, mobile ESPN, and the ability to take pictures and videos with our blackberry and post immediately on-line. Jeff is already up to speed on it but I will need a few lessons.
