We have been enjoying the warm Spring weather. It has been great for running and for the kids to play outside. Last Saturday, we attended Cousin/Nephew Nate's 15th Birthday Party. Kaelen had a great time wrestling with Nate and playing Barbies with friend Erin Kelly. All of Kaelen's Barbies have perfectly braided hair now thanks to Erin. Sunday, the kids' went to Grandma & Grandpa Tjebkes' while Jeff and I worked around the house. Our big project right now is decorating three bedrooms for each kid. We think Kason and Kamryn are ready for their own rooms. Kason is a super sound sleeper while Kamryn not so much. So, our first order of business is to get Kason's bedroom ready. Jeff painted Kason's room two different shades of blue last weekend. We're now waiting for the curtains to come and we also need to get to Simply Amish and order his furniture since that will take about 10-12 weeks to get. Will post pictures at some point in the future showing Kason's cool surfboard room. Then we will move to Kaelen's room as she is super excited for her walls to be painted. She changes her mind every day as to what colors she wants and keeps suggesting we just paint it like a rainbow. We will see....
I took a quick trip to Montreal this week for work and head to Orlando this coming week for the GSA Show. Haven't gone anywhere for work since early Feb. and now ended up with two trips in two weeks.
