Fall Festival in Muscatine

A couple of fun things this weekend. On Saturday we took Kaelen to the HNI Credit Union to open her own account. She had $72 in bills in her piggy bank and they were making it hard to put in coins, so she agreed to take them in to open an account. She was really excited! They asked us if she needed and ATM card and we said "Not yet!"

On Sunday Jeff and Kaelen went to the Fall Festival at the Muscatine riverfront. They had fun activities like cookie decorating, coloring and making pictures with stamps made from apples. Kaelen had a great time doing that, but the real highlight was the hay rack ride. Jeff and Kaelen jumped on the hay rack and the nice couple running it asked Kaelen if she wanted to sit up front and help drive the two horses! Of course she said yes (and with Jeff sitting right behind her), they went all around for about 15 minutes. Kaelen had a blast, probably won't get the chance to do that again anytime soon!
