Kamryn's first haircut!

This week it was Kamryn's turn for her first haircut. She did great and seemed to enjoy the whole experience. Big sister Kaelen also got her haircut and provided moral support for Kamryn.

Kaelen looking so grown up reading while we waited.

We are getting really tired of the cold here. Kaelen has new boots and snowpants that she can't wait to put to use but it is always freezing on the weekends. Jeff got a short break from the cold as he went to Las Vegas for the Consumer Electronics Show last Thursday to Saturday. He thought the 3D TV's at the show were pretty awesome. It was 60 degrees in Vegas but reality hit quickly when he got home and it was 2 degrees.

I will get my break next weekend when my friend Stacey and I go to Phoenix Friday to Monday to do the Rock and Roll Arizona Marathon. I am excited and nervous at the same time for the marathon. You never know what the day will bring until you get out there and start running. The last few weeks of training have been difficult to say the least but I have been doing my best to run outside in the cold. Ran 13 miles this morning when it was minus 13 degrees. Forecast for the marathon calls for 70 degrees. I think my body may go into shock while running with a swing of over 80 degrees.

Today is one of my least favorite days of the year- when the Patriots off season starts. Not a good game at all and it will take me a while to get over it. Gotta love Kaelen though in her attempt to console me. "Mommy, maybe Tom Brady had a tummy ache or was really tired today!" Yeah, she may be right. So now we will have to find some other form of entertainment for Sunday afternoons. Jeff said maybe we can leave the house more. There is always next year! And the Patriots play the Bears in Chicago so that will be on our to do list for the fall.
