4 months old!

The twins turned 4 months old today! Their 4 month doctor check-up is next week for shots, etc. But I ended up taking Kason to the doctor today because he has his first ear infection. He got weighed and is 13 lb 9 oz! He's gained almost 4 pounds in the last two months, so that's very good. We'll get Kamryn's weight next week.
Kason's ear infection today was kind of a strange coincidence, because we took Kaelen to the

Quad Cities this morning to get her second set of ear tubes put in. The first set of tubes had fallen out and she has had three ear infections in the last 3-4 months. It was an early morning. We dropped the twins off at day care at 5:00AM, and arrived at Trinity in Bettendorf at 6:00AM. The procedure went fine, Kaelen was a little "bear-cat" after waking up from the anesthesia, but that was expected. By the time we made it back to Muscatine she acted like nothing had happened. She did take a good, long nap this afternoon.

Tomorrow we have Kaelen's rescheduled Christmas concert.
