We took Kamryn and Kason for their 18 month check-ups today. The doctor said they are perfect, which we already knew. They are continuing to grow well and are on the full term baby growth chart even though their adjusted age is about 16-1/2 months now. Kason is a little taller at 32-1/4" while Kamryn is 32" tall. Kason also weighs a little more- 24 lbs, 9 oz. with Kamryn at 23 lbs, 14 oz. Kason is in the 25th percentile for weight and 40th for height. Kamryn is in the 40th percentile for weight and 50th for height.
We so enjoy watching the two of them relate to each other. They definitely have their own "language" and can clearly understand each other. The doctor told us not to be surprised if they do not talk to "us" until they are two or older since they can express their feelings to each other. Singletons have no choice but to talk to their parents sooner. Ha!
