We spent a long weekend at the Kalahari Waterpark Resort in the Wisconsin Dells. Kalahari has long been a favorite place of ours and we try to go there a few times each year. Each time we go Kaelen gets more brave. She has endless energy for going down the water slides for hours at a time, make that 6 hours at a time! She even did some of the "big kid" slides all by herself. Kamryn and Kason also enjoyed their time in the water- splashing around, hanging out in their floaty and in the water swings. Grandma and Grandpa Tjebkes went along so Jeff and I got to spend some time on the water slides and dinner alone one night. Jeff, Kaelen, and I went on a "Duck" ride. Kaelen wanted it to go faster than 5 mph on Lake Delton though. Also, enjoyed some shopping at my favorites- Gap, Banana Republic, and Carter's. Did not get a lot of sleep on the trip though. One night we spent three hours (2-1/2 hours waiting and 1/2 hour with the doctor) at the ER with Kason treating his pink eye. Luckily it got better very quickly the next day. Another night Kamryn was up fussing most all night. Turned out she had a bad ear infection. She is finally starting to feel better. Our goal is not to have to see a doctor again for at least a few weeks. Our trip to Kalahari would not have been complete without a little indulging at the Sweet Hut Candy Shop. This is the best part of the whole place in my mind!
